Hi,

Is it possible to turn on both the radio interfaces Radio 0 and Radio 1. ( Radio0-802.11N2.4GHz, Radio1-802.11N5GHz ). For the SAME SSID. Access Point is 1250 series. Do we need any extra hardware for this?

Please share the experience.

Any link on cisco.com?

Thanks in advance

Subodh

Sure. I assume you're using an autonomous AP. The SSID is created in global config mode with the dot11 ssid commands. Then you apply the SSID to which radio interfaces you want with the interface command ssid XXXXX.

We are having autonomous AP. What will be the effect of turning on both teh radio interfaces for same SSID any benefit ?

Thanks

Subodh
