Hello, as shown in the picture below

I'm thinking of installing Access Point on a wall that's 8m high..

Like the point of use, we need to provide 50 meters of service with one access point 3 meters long from the floor, and I would like to ask which antenna we should use.

I'm thinking of an iw9167e or c9124e model, and I need some input on how to use the antenna..

The question is not about an antenna that can shoot 50 metres away but, rather, if a wireless client can shoot back a response from 50 metres away.

As @Leo Laohoo said, client capabilites must match AP capabilities.

In this kind of setups the correct way to go is to install an AP on every end of the aisle with a directional antenna, not only to provide best connectivity in every end, but also to provide redundancy. If the aisle is too long, install another one in the middle of the aisle pointing downwards.

I rather prefer to rely on 3rd-party antennas as the catalogue is more extent, and they use to be cheaper, but with same or better quality. I use to use these antennas for long aisles (AccelTex ATS-03020) and this one in the middle for the long ones (AccelTex ATS-01088).

Agree with @JPavonM have done many warehouse using this deployment with 50-100m long aisles and having coverage from single AP and still have crappy warehouse scanners work no issue.

If looking at Cisco antenna look at the AIR-ANT2566D4M-RS although wont throw as far as the AccelTex ones.

Best thing is they have 3D images of each antenna patten that may help visulise the Antenna patten
