Not seeing 5 Ghz Wi-Fi Network

Hello, I have a Cisco AIR-AP2802I-B-K9 running ME version 8.10.196.0. I can configure any wireless 2.4 GHz networks without issues, but when I configure a 5 GHz network, I'm not seeing the network on any device that supports it. What can I do? It set the right regulatory domain, but still not seeing a 5 GHz network. What can i do?

- @najeemorais Both networks should be standard available : what do you mean by
configuring a 5 GHz network, (what commands are you using) ?

I'm having speed issues. I have other consumer routers, and I'm getting 350 up/down. I noticed I only get a max of 100 when connected to the 2802i. I decided to do some testing and created 2 separate networks. A 2.4 GHz and the other 5 ghz, I'm only seeing the 2.4 GHz network on any of my other devices, even though the second network has been created.

- It could be a configuration error on the mobility express controller ; you
can validate the configuration using WirelessAnalyzer input (procedure) for AireOs controllers
and feed the output from that into Wireless Config Analyzer

Note that normally you only create SSIDs/WLANS which have both bands available by default unless
one is turned off explicitly.

I'm using a Cisco Catalyst C3560-CG 8-Port PoE+, is that switch not powerful enough for this AP?

Some clients will not display the SSID if the AP picks a DFS (Dynamic Frequency Selection) channel.

Try to manually set the 5GHz radio channel to a non-DFS value, such as channel 36, 40, 44, or 48, then save, reboot the AP and check for SSID visibility again.

You should also be able to connect to the AP even if the SSID is not visible. Did you try this?

- Check the output of : AP# show interfaces dot11Radio 1
show inventory raw

On the ME controller try to activate both bands on the AP with :
(Cisco Controller )> config 802.11-abgn enable <AP-name>

I also encountered the same problem and it hasn't been resolved yet. A Cisco AIR-AP2802I-H-K9 device running the ME version 8.10.196.0.
