Someobody told me that the Cisco Wireless Control System has a way to determine the physical location of wireless clients. Is there any truth to this and if so where can I find more information? I have big plans for this type of instalation.

If you have WCS w/ Location can you see client locations without having the location appliance? I thought I remember hearing that you could track a single client at a time.

If you have WCS with location services you can poll a single device to locate where it is at the time of the poll. The location server allows you to integrate many devices onto the map to be tracked.

I just implemented a wireless location appliance last week. Spedning a lot of time tweaking it so I can get it as accurate as possible. It is now quite accurate, though to get this accuracy I had to deploy several more APs. There are quite a few nice features that the location appliance has, though there a quite a few features that I feel are severely lacking. All in all I am happy with it, though it could be much better.
