topic Different AP models in Wireless

Hi all We have MR45 APs in place in one of our offices, now we need to extend this office with more APs. MR45 APs are end of sales and I want to go with MR44, from the roaming prospective is the MR45 compatible with MR44? Or are there any issues? Of course there exists a table which models best can be "mixed" within one Meraki network? Thank you Markus

There's no explicit compatibility table for mixing AP.'s, just general best practices.

As they're both 802.1ax AP's, you should be fairly save mixing them in the same environment.

If you also still using 2.4ghz band, you could also look at the mr46. That support 4x4 on 2.4ghz like the mr45 does.

Many thanks to both of you for the opinion. I then will check which model can be delivered faster.
