Can anyone confirm the End of Support date for the MR76 wireless access points?

I am looking to replace my MR74's. Their end of support is July 21st, 2026. According to the link below, their replacement model is MR76's. https://documentation.meraki.com/@api/deki/files/15395/MR_Multi_EOS_Notice_May_7_2021.pdf?revision=1

This website states that they have the same End of Support date as the MR74's: https://serviceexpress.com/eol-eosl-database/products/cisco-mr76-hw-cisco-network-services/

However, the MR76 is not listed here: https://documentation.meraki.com/General_Administration/Other_Topics/Meraki_End-of-Life_(EOL)_Products_and_Dates

If they have the same End of Support date, can anyone recommend which model to transition to?

The service express website is confused and has the MR74 date listed for the MR76. If the MR76 is not listed it here means it does not currently have an EOL/EOS date.

There is no specific date yet. But taking into account other models, it can be said that it has a useful life of 5 years.

Have you considered doing a bigger jump and going to the MR78?

https://meraki.cisco.com/product/wi-fi/outdoor-access-points/mr78/

or even the CW9163E?

https://meraki.cisco.com/product/wi-fi/outdoor-access-points/cw9163e/

This page contains a little wizard to help you select models.

https://meraki.cisco.com/products/wi-fi/models/

Save yourself some hassle and forget the 78. The 78 cannot be long for this world and has a weird formfactor with plastic mounting hardware and no dedicated scanning radio. Deploy CW9163E instead and get access to 6 GHz and external antennas and SP

Remember that the CW9163E only does 6GHz in the USA at the moment as far as I am aware. It isn't licensed for it anywhere else yet.

Yes, 6GHz outdoor is a sad story in the rest of the world.

I was a little bit disappointed that the CW9163 doesn't have a flexible radio that could change the 6GHz to additional 5GHz spatial streams, given that most of the world can't use 6GHz outdoors.

Obviously JHA/regulatory domain always takes precedence with any freqs. Irrespective of 6GHz being available or not in JHA, the 9163E offers the longest runway when compared to 78 , 76, and 86. If and when the the local JHA's catches up, 6GHz would be available, beats a truck roll and another budgetary cycle in my book.
