Hi 🙂

I have a network and I want to upgrade only a few AP's of it, I was thinking in creating another network and move the ones that I want to upgrade to that new network and then, after the upgrade, return them to their original network.

It will cause any trouble if I make those movements? Is it neccesary to wait or something before I move back the AP's to their original network?

Thanks 🙂

No problem

But the APs will downgrade if you move them back to the old fw network

That is a good plan. If you use the option to clone the existing network you can be sure it will have all the same settings as well.

https://documentation.meraki.com/zGeneral_Administration/Organizations_and_Networks/Cloning_Networks_and_Organizations_in_Dashboard

I already cloned it but the AP's didn't appear in the cloned network, it's empty. The AP's stayed in the original network.

Cloning the network makes sure you have identical settings. Now you can move a test AP into your test cloned network.

https://documentation.meraki.com/zGeneral_Administration/Inventory_and_Devices/Moving_Devices_Between_Networks
