      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can somebody help me.. My friend gave me a meraki Mr20 Accesss point..I can not reset  it they forgot the&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;account. Can somebody teach me how to reset it.. I tried to add it on my meraki account it say the following claim are already in use.. Thank you in advance..&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Adding to what's been said above, while it's added to someone else's Meraki network, you cannot add it to your own.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Your options are:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; - Have you friend recover their account and release the device&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; - Have the service provider release the device&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://community.meraki.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/133764"&gt;@Conrad13&lt;/A&gt; I thought it was worth mentioning that the reason you have to claim and unclaimed devices is to stop device theft. Now it won't stop someone physically taking the hardware but it at least stop them from using it. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If your friend can un-claim the device from their Org as has been mentioned then you should be able to claim it in your however you will need to purchase a license for the access point as all devices need to be licensed to work. Meraki isn't consumer grade hardware so requires a license&lt;/P&gt;</description>
