do the first 6 digits in the mac-address by Cisco, that indicate the vendor,

also indicate that the device is the same type of device?

Example is: if an ad-hoc network reported in AirDefense on a CiscoLinkSys

with 00-1a-70 as the first 6 digits, then I scan the wired side and find a

device (Hub) with the same beginning 6 digits, would this indicate it is a

same or similar model, or that just Cisco made the device.
