topic Web gui for 1602i via wifi in Wireless

I am able to access the gui if I connect directly to the AP from my computer. Is there a setting to allow me to connect to the gui, web-based via WIFI or hard wired to a switch. I have several AP's throughout the building, to have to use a ladder to connect each individually is a pain, (in order to update a firmware or check a setting). They are 1602i standalone's.

Tim

Pls attach one of your AP

Pls attach one of your AP "show run" output. If you properly configure a management IP & default gateway, you should be able to access it from your wired/wireless network.

HTH

Rasika

I can see the AP by typing in

I can see the AP by typing in the ip address, I just have to be directly connected to it. Say example 192.168.1.240, I then can log into it as long as I manually config my ip, however, if I am connected to wifi or a switch, I get "page not desplayed" with the same address. I've checked the "ipconfig" and I am in the same subnet and ip range. When I connect to the wifi, I'm trying to access the web gui of the AP I'm connected to.

Tim

Looks like management IP

Looks like management IP/default-gateway not set properly. If both configured correctly & you connect the AP to a switchport configured as trunk with native vlan of AP management vlan, you should be able to reach your AP from rest of your network.

As requested, pls attach "show run" config of AP & switchport configuration (show run int x/x) where AP connects to review your configs.

HTH

Rasika

**** Pls rate all useful responses ***
