Hi, I'm facing an authentication issue on WPA-PSK on some wireless adapters accessing using the Windows WiFi Manager. Based on the encryption below, may I know how can i set it on the Windows Wifi Manager? Kindly please advice:

dot11 ssid Brendan

authentication shared

guest-mode

wpa-psk ascii 7 141A1D1905172F222F21

encryption key 1 size 40bit 7 D78895B7032C transmit-key

encryption mode wep mandatory

hi brendan,

here is an example of a psk command-line

AP(config)#interface dot11Radio 0

AP(config-if)#encryption mode ciphers tkip

AP(config-if)#ssid ssid_name

AP(config-if-ssid)#authentication open

AP(config-if-ssid)#authentication key-management wpa

AP(config-if-ssid)#wpa-psk ascii pre-shared_key

it appears you have some wep statments included.

I found this error on certain wireless adapters. It always disconnected when this error is found in the event log

TKIP TSC replay was detected on a packet (TSC 0x29) received from 0014.7c67.0c06.

Packet to client 0014.7c67.0c06 reached max retries, removing the client

what does this mean and appreciate your advice. TQ

Error Message DOT11-4-TKIP_REPLAY: "TKIP TSC replay was detected on a packet (TSC

0x%ssx received from %e)."

Explanation TKIP TSC replay was detected on a frame. A replay of the TKIP TSC in a received packet almost indicates an active attack.

Recommended Action None.

That is the cisco response to the error.

Make sure your PSK is set up properly
