I got an Aironet 702i off of eBay for personal use. It has the controller bassed software on it and I was trying to download the Autonomous software but need a SMARTnet Licence for it? I was talking to a support representative and told I could get one from CDW. Now I'm confused about what SMARTnet "extended service agreement" to get. I'm assuming this one should cover what I need to be able to download the K7.tar file to convert it over. Thank you in advance.

If you know the exact filename of the firmware you are looking for, Google it.

Cisco don't sell SmartNet to products purchased by non-authorized resellers.

You can compare the md5 checksum between the file you downloaded and the value shown in the download center. That way you know at least if it's the same file.
I don't think you can get a support contract for a product that is EoL.
