actually I want know what are the advantages of using a AP in flexconnect mode (local switching) even if it present in local subnet with WLC.

I understand its use when it is in a remote office but in this case both AP and WLC are in same office.

The only advantage that I can think of is this, if you use Flexconnect local switching, then the traffic will not go to the WLC and not fully utilize its 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps interfaces. Thus you might be able to get more bandwidth out of your wireless network (with all the other limitations that Flexconnect will bring).
