vista clients cannot connect when mac filtering enabled

I have a couple of clients that have Vista that cannot connect to Aironet 1200 APs version 12.3(8)JA2. XP works fine. I have WEP 128bit enabled also. When I disable mac filtering, all clients can connect with no problems. Also, is 12.3(8)JA2 the latest system version? The Product/Model Number is AIR-AP1231G-A-K9

What is the error message that is displayed when the client doesnt connect?.

It'll ask if I want to automatically get new IP settings. It actually connects to the AP with the encryption key. If I give it a static, everything works fine. If i set it to obtain a DHCP address and then renew, it doesn't receive one. If I disable mac filtering on the 1200 AP, it will renew the ip address.
