WLC 5508 acts as mobility anchor for WLC 5520

Hello,

I have a WLC 5520 with the software version 8.3.102.0 having a mobility anchor as 5508 WLC Controller in another location running with a software version 8.0.140.0. The 5508 is also configured as Internal DHCP Server providing DHCP Addresses for guest WLAN. We have many locations and we use 2504 controllers in those locations. They also have mobility anchor as 5508 controller in our HQ and they all work fine. The new 5520 is unable to show even the web portal redirect when I try to connect to it. Can anyone please help!!!!

The output of "show mobility summary" on 5508 WLC(10.71.102.33) Controller:

Hello Rasika,

Hello Rasika,

I am an avid reader of your blog mrn CCIE. What we have done now is that, we have tweaked it a little bit. Now we are not using mobility anchor as 5508. We are deflecting all the requests to a DHCP Server and we are able to get the IP addresses. Authentication with PSK is also working fine. The problem now is :

Web Authentication.

We tried to use conditional redirect for getting a web page, getting it too, but after giving the credentials for the user locally defined, we are not going further. The web page just stays..Do you have any idea with that??

if you want any config details, let me know.

Best Regards,
