Hello,

I am setting MAC filters on my AP 1230. Althought it seem to be working, when I enter a MAC I see no errors at all but when using both the IOS or browser to see my current configuration I see different MAC addresses than the ones I type in the access-list.

Do you have any clue? please let me know if this is normal or I am missing something here.

Regards,

Make sure that after specifying the filter, you have clicked on "Apply" Button.

Even if the filter is saved on the access point, it will not be enabled until you apply it on the"Apply Filters page".

If clients are not filtered immediately, click Reload on the System Configuration page to restart the access point.

See Step 10 in the following document:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/wireless/airo1100/accsspts/i12211ja/i12211sc/s11filt.htm#91655
