Does this Autonomous AP or WLC managed AP ?

Usually if it is WLC managed, you should not push config directly to AP. Everything managed via WLC.

Error msg state, that AP does not have write community, so prime is not able to push the config

HTH

Rasika

*** Pls rate all useful responses ***

What does this mean... "...write community string not specified..." error is presented after trying to save a change in the AP config.

We have about 1500 CAPWAP

We have about 1500 CAPWAP access points and this is the only one that won't accept a config change from Prime... I think I'm just going to, first, try and reset it back to factory default then upon powering up see if it accepts the image from the controller and boots up to where I can then try to push it's new config from Prime... if this fails I will retrieve the AP and console into it and, if necessary, TFTP a new image... was just hoping to avoid all of this... but thank you.
