topic Mobility Express Failover & DHCP in Wireless

Guys,

I'm trying to have failover wireless network based on Aironet 1852 with ME v8.3

In multiple technical documents are described how to failover works and how to a new master is selected. BUT I cannot understand the internals of that process.

The original master was configured to have 3 DHCP pools (Management, Employee, Guests) by the Wizard to provision a new site.

My question is: What's going on with DHCP pools in case if the master is down and elections is initialized?

How leases and pools are synchronized with other stand-by (ME Compatible AP) what could be elected as a next master?

Should I have an external DHCP in case if failover is required?

Thanks.
