Hi Rasika

Thanks for your especifications.

I comment to you that this is only for especial cases and for some users (VIP Users) that want more stability at the wireless connection, so we are going to configure this to help users at this case.

Thanks again for taking the time to help me.

Mobility Group - Layer 3 Roaming

Hello People

I have a doubt referent on Mobility Groups, especially at Inter-Subet Roaming... I am about to configure this Feature between three controllers 2504, when a corporate user gets connected to an AP A in WLC A at BRANCH A then the user goes to BRANCH B and gets connected to AP B that is in the WLC B (The wireless LAN controllers have the right configuration for mobility group), in that case the layer 3 roaming works ok?

Thank for reading this!

I will appreciate all the help that you can give me.

Yes, it is L3 roam as long as

Yes, it is L3 roam as long as branch A & branch B WLCs seperated by L3 network.

Do you really need roaming between these branches ? is there a possibility a user move from branch A to branch B expecting wireless connection remain active ? If not you do not require roaming between these two sites.

HTH

Rasika

*** Pls rate all useful responses ***
