Cisco Mobility Express 1850 to manage outdoor AP 1570

Hi All,

When AP 1850 becomes the controller, is it able to manage outdoor AP 1570?

From the link below, there is a list of APs supported as Subordinates, does it mean the AP model which is not in the table (such as AP 1570) cannot be managed by the controller AP1850?

That is correct. The ME does not support the 1570's at the moment and don't think it will be supported later, but you never know. Here is a link to the matrix also with the supported AP's

Mobility Express solution consists of the following components:

Master Access Point–Cisco Aironet® Access Point 1800, 2800, 3800 series running the virtual Wireless LAN Controller function
Subordinate Access Points–Cisco Aironet® Access Points which are managed by Master Access Point similar to how a Wireless LAN Controller manages Access Points
Cisco Aironet® Access Points which support the Wireless LAN Controller function and operate as Master Access points are listed in the table below:
