I need to change the mobility group on 12 controllers, my question is will the AP's or controllers need to reboot after these changes are made? What tyoe of service interuption would this change cause?

What about any stations that are currently connected after a layer 3 roam? Given that the roam is established to the second controller dependent on the mobility group, would changing the group name drop the station? Just thinking out loud as usually I would ask for a maintenance window for a change like this and not worry about service impact.
//art

Sent from Cisco Technical Support iPhone App

I agree I would ask for a maintance window as well. Mob groups are pretty important and you could hang up a client in a L3 roam.

__________________________________________________________________________________________
"Satisfaction does not come from knowing the solution, it comes from knowing why." - Rosalind Franklin
__________________________________________________________________________________________
‎"I'm in a serious relationship with my Wi-Fi.
