1230AG - cannot access express setup page

Hi, I just got a WAP 1230AG and i hyper terminaled in and saw the WAP starting up and assigning a 10.0.0.1 default address. I cannot access that page in IE! i have tried removing the external antenna, disconnecting the ethernet cable and all of these with resetting to factory default. also tried giving myself a manual ip of 10.0.0.1 with 255.255.0.0 subnet. i cannot access it! someone please help! Thanks.

The radios are off by default, I believe.

THe AP will come up with a 10.0.0.1/8 address. You need to connect a PC with any 10.0.0.0/8 address to the FastEthernet port and point your browser to 10.0.0.1.

OR, since you are already successfully console-attached, add a compatible address and mask to the BVI interface and attach it to your LAN and access it from any PC.

Your initial configuration has to be from an Ethernet-wired PC.
