    <description>&lt;P&gt;hi all,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I tried to uprade &amp;nbsp;ios on cisco 5508 WLC and put the &amp;nbsp;same image as the backup image. now the device is stuck at boot loader. how do i get out of this without formatting flash?&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Boot Loader Menu&lt;BR /&gt;============================================================&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1. Run primary image (8.2.130.0) - Active&lt;BR /&gt; 2. Run backup image (8.2.130.0)&lt;BR /&gt; 3. Change active boot image&lt;BR /&gt; 4. Clear configuration&lt;BR /&gt; 5. Format FLASH Drive&lt;BR /&gt; 6. Manually update images&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hmm sorry I think you'll need to TAC. If you don't have support you could try changing the active boot image / clearing config but not sure that will do much.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;I don't think you can.. maybe ask the vendor you purchased it off for access to the original image? You could also email tac@cisco.com who might provide you the image if it is the same as your current even if you don't have support. (They also might say no but it is sometimes worth a shot).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
