Hi all,

this is my environment :

vWLC 8.0.140 and some ap 2700, one ssid with web authentication local on wlc (wlc is the captive portal and controller wireless), flex-connect local switching.

This is my issue:

The mobile phone, iphone, samsung are not able every time to open the splash page of the captive portal, sometimes i need to remove all the page on the browser and clear the cache of the browser. The client are on webauth_reqd, dns work, acl work, this is a usability problem.. someone solve this issue.

Hi, redirection happened with

Hi, redirection happened with first DNS lookup.

If phone prefer something from cache over DNS lookup then DNS lookup doesn´t happen and it will not redirect you.

Try go to the webpage which was not opened on device yet.

Also every time you can go to captive portal manually if you enter IP address of virtual interface.
