WLC 8510 SFP negociation

Hello,

We need to purchase new wlc 8510. I know we also need to purchase only SFP-10G-SR or SFP-10G-LR transceivers. But we haven't any switches delivering such speed. I would like to know if the speed/duplex negociation will be possible if I connect the wlc 10GB transceiver to a 1GB fiber transceiver on the switch's side.
