topic WLC compatibility matrix in Wireless

Hello,

I have a 4402 WLC running version 7.0.251.2 and a WCS running version 7.0.164.0.

I was hoping to upgrade the WCS to version 7.0.240.0 but wasnt sure if it was compatible, the only document I can find is attached below, it says though '2500 series controller' at the top and it seems to state that WLC version 7.0.250.0 is the latest I can run which will support 7.0.240.0.

Does this seem correct or has anyone tried this before?

Many thanks for any help!

Derek

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/compatibility/matrix/compatibility-matrix.html

It is compatible. WCS, NCS

It is compatible. WCS, NCS and the 4400's are all EOS. Don't knownif the code is still out there or not, but your better off upgrading to the new Prime Infrastructure 2.2. I believe it's a free upgrade still if you have smartnet so you can rehost the license.

-Scott
