Migrate WLC 2500 from branch to HUB without disconecting branch APs

How I can move a WLC 2504 currently setup at a branch with 10 APs to a HUB?

The idea is to migrate the WLC to the main office and keep the 10 Access Points at the Branch. Then, with the WLC at the branch, we'll manage those 10 access points plus we will deploy 5 more at another branch. So basically we are centralizing the WLC to the HUB and control all APs from there.

I need help as far as configuration is concerned.

Hi George,

Thank you for the input. I went to your link and just realized that it is for 7.2. I am running 7.4.110.0 but I also noticed that even 7.6 is out.

Do you recommend to first upgrade my WLC 2504 to the latest version?

Flex connect has been around for a long time formally called hreap. As you progress in code you will want to read the respected code config guide. If yiur are on 7.4 read the 7.4 flex section ..

You should go with v7.4.121.0

You should go with v7.4.121.0 and make sure you also upgrade the FUS to 1.9.0.0.... please read the lease notes. There are some issues with FlexConnect on v7.6.120.0 with local switching, so maybe stay away from that version.
