topic logging on a WLC in Wireless

Hello,

I have a doubt concerning the logging in WLC's or mobility express.

When we want to check the logs, I've noticed we don't have very old logs but only recent ones.

How could we know the storage available for logs ? Is it possible to configure the WLC to store more logs than default ?

Thank you,

Hi,

The logs are stored in the NVRAM which won't have a whole lot of space. It is highly recommended to use syslog or Cisco Prime Infrastructure (CPI) for log storage if you can.

Thanks,

Ric

show msglog, show traplog on wlc shows logs since last log reset.

Message log and traplog holder on WLC is very limited as new logs will append while old logs gets deleted.
