WLC AP's count exceeds quantity of licenses.

Hello, I was wondering what would happen if the AP count exceeds the number of licenses available to register AP's in a WLC 4400?

Hi,

4400 has fixed number of AP to support (either 50 or 100) and the number is fixed. Once you buy can't increase number of APs supported.

For example 4402 WLC has the license of 12, 25, or 50 APs limitation. Which means one 4402 can support 50 APs maximum.

If a controller is licensed for 50 AP, then the 51st AP won't be able to join the controller
