      <title>Accesspoint shouldnot join WLC</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have WLC which is having 70 accesspoint associated with it.The model num of accesspoint is 1242.But if any one from outside bring one same model of accesspoint  and tried to connect it should not connect.Did any one knows how to configure the  controller for this or any other option.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;One other thing you can do is to make sure you remove option 43 from dhcp, remove dns entry if one was configured, remove any dhcp scope on the subnet the management and ap manager is on, disable otap on the wlc, and remove any ip-helper that is pointing to the wlc.  All these features are to help LAP's find the WLC so that they can be part of your WLAN.  Once your LAP's are up, there is no reason to have these still configured.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
