Can I use the Radius server that comes on the NT Server options disk with the Aironet access points? I want to enable EAP authentication without spending $6000 for the Cisco secure ACS software. I have used the free NT Radius server with the PIX to authenticate VPN sessions in the past successfully. Does it also work with the Aironet products?

Thanks

I don't think any of the current "free" RADIUS servers will work because I believe that, during authentication, the ACS passes information on the per-session WEP key to the AP via RADIUS encapsulation. This seems fairly specific and proprietary to me..
