yes, then I had to formulate

yes, then I had to formulate such way:

why TPC does not make all access points to spread Tx power at the highest level?

Where I could read about logic and factors taken into account by controller setting Tx to a certain level?

I would like to have all access points working at the highest Tx level.

Hi Andrey,

Hi Andrey,

This is the point of the WLC - it monitors your RF environment and adjusts the power level according to many things but the key ones are interference avoidance and client coverage. In the pic above the * represents it is automatic/dynamic. You can alter this by setting the power level statically on each AP but this is not recommended.

Ric

*edit* Whups sorry Leo, didn't see your earlier reply.

If the WLC is globally set to Fix AP power level to level 1. Is it possible to change this setting on an AP Group basis? Would like to set this Auto but limit the impact to a certain AP's to test this out first.
