Everything is working properly and the APs are joined without problems, but only if the port of the 3650 is configured in access mode.

This is a prerequisite for Converged access wireless where you have to connect AP directly onto switch (MA) where port is configured as a "Access Port".

You cannot connect AP on trunk port (as it is unsupported). But this will not limited to configure multiple SSID on different vlans in Converged access. Since CAPWAP establish between AP and 3650 switch, you do not want dot1q trunk between AP and Switch.

Hi,

I have a stack consisting of 2 WS-C3650-24PS (version 03.03 .05SE) configured as MC and 4 AIR-CAP3702I-E-K9.

Everything is working properly and the APs are joined without problems, but only if the port of the 3650 is configured in access mode. This is a problem because i need to set up multiple SSIDs in different VLANs and i need that the AP can join in a trunk port mode.

This scenario what i have set up in other occasions WLC in 2504 and 5508 without any problem.

How do I configure multiple SSIDs in different VLANs but can I put the port mode in trunk?

Best regards.
