Access Points 2702i

Whe have deployed some AP2702i. And I am trying to run traffic on both data ports on the AP.

The POE port is attached to WS-2960S switch and is pulling16,8 Watts, and the AUX port is connected to the same switch and same VLAN. But AUX port is “down” on AP

I have not done any configuration on AP just Default installation. Do I have to config AUX port?

Hi,

AUX port will be disabled if the AP is being powered by a limited 15.4 W .3af PoE source because it requires PoE+, .3at, or local power (wall brick type power supply) to properly function.
