Hello everyone.

I have a Cisco 2100 WLC with two access points 1130AG in different places. The system is working correctly, but occasionally one of the APs fails. They have the green led, but any client can connect, until I reset the AP with the option "Clear config except static IP" from WLC.

The clients detecting the WLANS with good coverage, but they can't connect.

This problem happens with the two APs, occasionally and separately.
In the WLC does not show any "log" error when this happens, and this AP appears join correctly.

Is normal this behavior?

Thank you very much.

We need more information to help you.

- Version of WLC:

- Any debug about the AP affected "debug lwapp (capwap if use from v5.2) errors enable" "debug lwapp events enable" when the AP enters in this "state".

Can you recover the AP only with a "normal" reset??

When you talk about "different places", is in different geographic places?? or in the same building on different floors?

Last question: when the AP gets into this state What is the color of the different leds located at the ethernet and console ports (radio and ethernet leds)???

Best regards.

-The version of WLC is AIR-WLC2112-K9 and the firmware is 6.0.196.0.

-I can't recover the AP with a normal reset, I need to do a "clear config except static IP".

-The APs are in different buildings, but in the same network (the buildings are in the same enclosure).

-I can not see the status LEDs "ethernet" and "console" because now they are working properly.
I will look the next time it happens (it may take days or weeks...).

Thanks

Best regards
