Dear All,

I have to set up a VLAN with one AP (1242AG) as local authenticator and about another 7 APs for coverage. Does it make sense to make the local authenticator AP (which also provides radio coverage for clients) the WDS master ?

AP which has local authentication can be made to act as a WDS but not necessarily. But whichever AP is conigured as WDS make sure number of clients associated are less.Refer URL
