What software version? This thread from December is quite extensive and sounds like you are encountering the same issue:

AP on a stick Site survey with 1832/1852/2802/3802

Hi,

Has anyone done AP on a stick sitesurvey with the AP's in the title.

After i configure the ME AP and plug it to my site survey kit it dosent broadcast any ssid, i have confirmed that this is not POE issue.

And the error i am getting on the console is : Config not syned to APs since no AP is present.

The AP i am currently using is 2802e.

So my question is: has anyone done AP on a stick sitesurvey with success, if so how ?

Have you tried the solution outlined in the thread? particularly the one by Michael.Provost.

Thanks,
