&lt;P&gt;I have &lt;GS id="f7656be0-1dd5-4575-afe4-9e4270bacace" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="0f507444-b3ca-4c2a-b296-6d71aa5f47b1" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"&gt;cisco&lt;/GS&gt; 1700 AP. It was previously on Controller mode. Then, &lt;GS id="65554f5d-4c18-4e88-a9c3-99ece1e963e3" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="dbb7a684-9849-4f59-8669-fcdc80aef790" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"&gt;i&lt;/GS&gt; changed it to standalone mode. Now, &lt;GS id="bddd5815-309e-4284-b5f8-dd713499a06f" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="1f577242-fe66-4d08-a56d-10d68febe53f" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"&gt;i&lt;/GS&gt; am experiencing various problems.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1.I &lt;GS id="48d051dd-f52d-4ec1-bfd0-8603c96dd1f2" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="71e7f5f5-c58f-4374-80c0-c058b5ad68f8" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"&gt;can't&lt;/GS&gt; get the GUI access of AP though &lt;GS id="ec048d27-d1d6-4b9a-8878-5ddf69a9be83" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="71e7f5f5-c58f-4374-80c0-c058b5ad68f8" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"&gt;i&lt;/GS&gt; can ping the &lt;GS id="84b8304e-80dd-4577-af5b-8ddbd9e125ff" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="71e7f5f5-c58f-4374-80c0-c058b5ad68f8" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"&gt;ip&lt;/GS&gt; of the AP.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2. AP doesn't broadcast the SSID.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;GS id="61e7aff0-0bc1-4616-bfaa-6942260ca3fe" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="f35fa05b-e9e6-4dfd-b259-e3870efc54a6" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"&gt;what&lt;/GS&gt; &lt;GS id="b82ca548-13a9-4e38-942a-04655f743a0a" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="f35fa05b-e9e6-4dfd-b259-e3870efc54a6" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"&gt;i&lt;/GS&gt; noticed is the IP &lt;GS id="00f06f3d-4e4d-45a4-8845-330cedc76107" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="f35fa05b-e9e6-4dfd-b259-e3870efc54a6" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"&gt;i&lt;/GS&gt; set in the AP via console is shown this way:&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Regarding problem with cisco ap</title>

      <description>I have cisco 1700 AP. It was previously on Controller mode. Then, i changed it to standalone mode. Now, i am experiencing various problems.

1.I can't get the GUI access of AP though i can ping the ip of the AP. 

2. AP doesn't broadcast the SSID.

what i noticed is the IP i set in the AP via console is shown this way:

&lt;P&gt;Maybe the BVI is in shutdown mode. Also in the switch configuration must same subnet of native vlan and the AP&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Add mbssid guest-mode command under the ssid configuration mode and then add mbssid command under the radio interface configuration mode.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
