managed ap not broadcasting ssid

Ap 1832i is joining wireless controller 2504 normally. But not broadcasting ssid, another series is working properly and broadcasting except this series.

while this model AIR-AP1832I-E-K9 is not broadcasting.

firmware the of WLC 2504 is the latest which is 8.2.110.

Also check if Radios are disabled or enabled!!!

Go to Wireless > Access Points > Radios > 802.11a/n/ac or 802.11b/g/n then on far right of the AP you will see a drop down blue box , click configure and see if Admin status is enabled or not!!!

Please check if there is any AP groups(except default-group) on WLC. If yes then add the WLAN in the specific AP groups.

WLAN > Advanced > AP Groups

Also paste the output of : sh wlan <id>

OK,

as the aironet 18XX do no support TKIP anymore SSID with tkip isn't broadcasted...

solution : replace tkip with aes.

1. First check AP is connecte dproperly!!!

2. older then 8.3 version: TKIP was not supported. so you can try to change ssid to WPA2/AES and try again.
