topic AP Groups for same SSID & Multiple Vlans in Wireless

Hello,

We are configuring AP Group to achieve "One SSID with Multiple Vlans" requirement.

We configured AP Groups as per Cisco documentation, but we are getting AP Group names as SSID in Mobile and Laptops.

What we have done is following:

Step 1- Configured AP-Group "Group1" set WLAN SSID "Company" and Interface " Floor10 (Subnet 10.0.0.1) " then save.

Step 2-Configured second AP-Group "Goup2" set WLAN SSID "Company" and Interface "Floor20 (subnet 20.0.0.1)" then saved.

Step 3-Defined Floor 10 AP's with Group1 and Floor 20 AP's with Group2.

Now when we search for SSID in Mobile and Laptop devices, it appear as Group1 and Group2 (respective to floor) rather "Company".

Is it normal ?

No this is not normal. Can you tell maybe a little bit more about your deployment? How many controllers & access-points, which software version are you using, how many clients etc?

If possible please also post a "show run-config commands".
