timed out while waiting for echo response from the ap

Hi experts,

From few days, we affected with this problem. WLC 2504 and different kinds of APs are disassociated with WLC randomly.

worked well before. and no licensing issues.

Disconnecting reason is : Max re transmission reached for AP

connection failure : timed out while waiting for echo response from the ap

any help?

What code of software you running on 2504 ?

Has this been started recently ? Are these AP & WLC are on same LAN or across a WAN ?

Hi, Its in Same LAN. i checked the connectivity using TDR cable test in switch. that shows connectivity is OK. but AP is not registered to WLC and i have to restart the AP to get connected. this behavior is happening randomly for different APs.

WLC using 7.0.235.3.

I suspect this is WLC code specific.

Is there any reason why you stay with 7.0 (~ 3years old code). I would suggest to move onto 8.0.120.0 if no restriction
