    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi All,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have number of autonomus aps all cisco aironet 1601.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;They all advertise same ssid and on different channels.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;All of them relay dhcp request to the asa firewall.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;issue is when they roam from one ap to another, they loose connectivity .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;they can not obtain ip from asa but if you wait or switch off/switch on the wireless card , it will work .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;any ideas on what this can be ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

they can not obtain ip from asa but if you wait or switch off/switch on the wireless card , it will work . - &lt;/PRE&gt;

&lt;P&gt;A number of reasons. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1. &amp;nbsp;Because this is autonomous, this mean CleanAir is not enabled so it could because of co-channel interference.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2. &amp;nbsp;Lack of cell coverage&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;3. &amp;nbsp;Bad or old wireless card firmware&lt;/P&gt;</description>
