topic ap manager - HA in Wireless

Hi all

I have a correctly working HA pair of 5508’s. This means:

- LAG enabled (two different port channels on two different switches).

- Dynamic VLAN’s faced to SSID’s (VLAN30,VLAN40) are carried to both LAGs.

- Same VLAN of Mgt Interface and redundant interfaces (VLAN10) is carried to both LAGs .

- Same IP of wireless mgt interface.

- Different and “crossed” IPs of redundant interfaces.

- RP cable connected.

Now: I want to define one dynamic AP manager interface on new VLAN20, DIFFERENT FROM VLAN10. I know it is useless, but I need it.

I will enable “dynamic AP management” on this new interface (VLAN20), and DISABLE this option on wireless mgt interface (VLAN10). This is possible, for one 5508.

Is it POSSIBLE on the HA pair? Do I have to use TWO IPs for this interface? What if I disable LAG?
