For the time being, autonomous IOS for 2700 is only for wireless site survey. Future IOS will support autonomous IOS for wifi service.

Kind of related,

Does the 5760, release 3.3.3SE support the 2700? I take it that it does, but the literature only references the 3700 series? I am guessing the release notes were not updated as the 3700 was released first?

Does the 5760, release 3.3

Does the 5760, release 3.3.3SE support the 2700? I take it that it does, but the literature only references the 3700 series?

IOS XE (for the 3650, 3850 and 5760) is at least, 6 months, BEHIND the latest release. Cisco calls it "software parity" (or lack of). So the answer to your question is "NO". You'll need to wait, possibly, for the end of June 2014 as Cisco is set to release a large swath of new IOS versions, like IOS XE 3.4.0.
