Did not found hidden command called aprm under test in Cisco AP 1240?

Hi ,

I have to validate RRM Feature for CCX Clients ,for that we have to use following hidden command :

" test aprm rmrq client xxxx.xxxx.xxxx dot11radio 0 clientreq.txt " ,but if run this hidden command then it is giving "Unrecognized Command" .Please suggest me how to use this command.

I never seen that command before. If you were able to use that command before and it isn't available now, well Cisco could of removed it or it's not available on the code your running

Hi Scott,

Thanks for u r quick response.

1.This one is a hidden command and it is part of CCX V2 test plan . We have to issue this command from AP's Diagnostic Shell to send RM-Request to associated clients.

2.According to CCX Test Plan , this command supported by Cisco 1240 AP's with firmware 12.2(13)JA or newer version .We are using 12.4(10b).JDA firmware in our 1242 AP ,This one is suggested firmware from CCX Test Plan.

As you said, this is a hidden and undocumented commad.

If you need support for this, you'll need to raise a TAC Case.

I too have never seen this command.

Yeah your going to have to open a TAC case or ask your Cisco SE. I don't think your going to get that info from this forum.

There are many unhidden CCX config, diag and debug commands at WLC and AP are mostly used to perform most of the test cases included in the testplan.

Each Vendor signed up with cisco as part of CCX cert program runs CCX verification tests on their wireless client driver code. it could be ascom, intel, .....

Yes , I agree with you but If we want to send manual RM-Request then this hidden command (test aprm ...) mandatory. Is there anyway to enable this command.

If you that what you are doing is "highly confidential", do you honestly believe this forum is the right place to discuss this?
