topic NTP and CAPWAP based APs in Wireless

I have a couple of questions.

I am assuming NTP for the CAPWAP ap's is polled from the Controller. If this is the case is there any reason we would change the NTP polling server on the AP's individually for a Flex Connect in a different time zone than the hosted controller.

Also. When I enable SSH on the AP the AAA Radius authentication or location authentication does not give me access to the device. Thoughts?

The NTPis important just for the certificate on the AP in which the WLC time is the key. If you enable ssh or telnet, the login is Cisco Cisco unless you change that. You can change the credentials here:

Thanks,

Scott

Help out other by using the rating system and marking answered questions as "Answered"

If this is the case is there any reason we would change the NTP polling server on the AP's individually for a Flex Connect in a different time zone than the hosted controller.

Won't make any difference because CAPWAP protocol does NOT understand timezones. At the end of the day, if you have APs in NYC and HNL and you get their logs, all APs will express their timezones as UTC/GMT.
