Hello There.

Simple question, but which AP's support Workgroup Bridge Mode. We have to extend a LAN over the Air.

I didn't find any informaiton on the web.

Any access point running autonomous code from the 1200's to the newer ap's. Excluding any mesh or bridges.

That means i cant do a workgroup bridge with a LAP and WLC ?

No... You can configure an autonomous ap as a WGB and have that associate to a LAP, but a LAP can't be set to be a WGB.

Yes... utilize the LAP's and do indoor mesh. That is what I do at home to extend coverage instead of using a WGB.

You talking about indoor mesh, but i have to do that outdoor over a distance of 210 feet. Indoor Mesh can be used on outdoor AP too, right. Or I can install the indoor ap and thrill a hole trough the wall to connect to an outdoor antenna, right?

If your covering outdoor, you need to look at the 1550's. they are expensive but can withstand Mother Nature. Well most of Mother Nature. To use an indoor ap, you have to consider humidity, heat and the cold which can ruin the AP.

You can place the ap inside and the antenna outside but your limited to the coverage.
