What kind of APs are you trying to manage? IOS APs or CAPWAP/LWAPP APs ?

If it's lightweight lwapp/capwap APs, I think you're mistaken on WCS usage and you would need to check the controller templates.

If it's IOS APs through WCs, then the only way is to do a "show run" on one AP and copy paste the command lines to the other APs through WCS ap template.

Nicolas

Hi, i am trying to utilize AP template in WCS so i can push AP configuration to more than one AP. How can i export exiting Ap configuration, create a template and use newly created template for AP deployment? Basically instead of hitting every AP individually i would like to make a change to more than one AP. The config changes would include WLAN configs, primary controller info, locations, etc.

I went to WCS/AP configuration template/Autonomous AP but it ask me to enter config lines...

Any feedback appreciated.

Regards

I am using CAPWAP and i should be able to crete a template for AP using WCS. Then, you can apply template to number of APs. There is also template for controllers but this is not for me.

Thanks for reply.
