I can think of one.

Create an AP group as default. When new APs join the controller the first time, it will join the default AP group and seeing that the WLAN is disabled, it will do just that.

Does that help?

Is there any way to configure a WLC to automatically disable new APs (shut down the radios) when they are first booted up and join a controller?

Thanks!
