Hi all,

We have two WLC8500 (version 7.5.102) configured as High Availability (APSSO) back-to-back for redundacy. The network manager and trap receiver for Operators is a HP Network Node Manager. At this moment, we want a very basic integration with the sever just to check hardware issues (power supplies, links, fans, AP status, etc.). The NNM detects both chasis as just one box, because both WLC sends traps using the same Managent IP address. Are there any way to detect both WLC individually?

thanks a lot,

juan

Try using the redundant management interface as that is unique to each WLC.

HTH,
Steve

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please remember to rate useful posts, and mark questions as answered

When we send a snmp request to the redundat IP address, the secondary WLC responds using the global IP address.

Cisco Prime also detects only a WLC. Do you konw if we can gather information about the secondary WLC through the PRIME?

thanks a lot,

Juan
